Seiko Epson Corporation(TSE: 6724, "Epson")推出了新的差分输出晶体振荡器 (SPXO) 系列,可在基本模式3中实现低相位抖动 ,并采用微型2.5 x2.0 x 0.74mm封装。新产品系列包括SG2520EGN和 SG2520EHN,以及 SG2520VGN 和 SG2520VHN,所有这些都提供了更高的频率稳定性。爱普生已经开始出货频率高达 212.5MHz的SPXO。爱普生计划于2021年3月开始批量生产频率范围为212.5MHz 至 500MHz的SPXO.
随着第 5 代电信系统 (5G) 的引入以及移动网络、物联网 (IoT)、高级驾驶员辅助系统 (ADAS) 和数据中心的发展,电信网络流量和容量继续增加。同时,通信信号中允许的噪声水平较低,网络设备中使用的时钟必须工作在高频和低相位抖动。连接网络设备的光通信模块正变得更快、更小,需要频率容差为±20 x 10 -6或更低的时钟来实现400Gbps和800Gbps的超高速和80km或更长距离的传输。
